October 1938

The only known meeting of the Legendary Santas, Charles W. Howard and Raymond Joseph “Jim” Yellig took place in October 1938 at the historic Candy Castle in Santa Claus, Indiana.

The above picture is the only known photograph of this historic event. Jim Yellig (hand raised) and Charles W. Howard (full regalia) in the round room of the Castle during a Santa School seminar.
